Cobham Park is a Bible-believing, New Testament church that has always been known for its strong pulpit ministry and emphasis on Bible teaching in its various Christian education programs. In addition, it is known throughout the community as a warm, caring fellowship that strives to follow in the footsteps of the One who always went about doing good.
An excellent *children’s program* includes programs for children of all ages during the 9:00 a.m. Sunday School hour, as well as *Nursery Care* during the 10:00 a.m. worship service. In addition, *Children's Church* is provided for children aged 2-6 during the 10:00 a.m. worship service.
There is an active *Kid's Event* every 3rd Sunday immediately after worship and Vacation Bible School is well-attended every year.
The church has an outstanding *music program* that features an adult choir and often offers Special Music performed by other talented musicians.
The *worship services* of the church are warm and “user-friendly” with a "blended" style of music, featuring worship choruses, along with the best-loved hymns. The *pastor’s messages* are biblical, practical and designed to meet the needs of the young, the old and everyone in-between. We also offer Bible study opportunities for adults of all ages.
Though located in a non-urban area, the ministries and programs of the church are comparable to those in the larger city churches. In simple terms, the church really has something for everyone.
The church voluntarily cooperates with the Southern Baptist Convention and the Baptist General Association of Virginia.
